CAMPBELL RIVER, BC -The Save Simms Creek Society (SSC) welcomes the recent announcement that WestUrban Developments Ltd. is revising its development plans for the Simms Creek wetlands between Alder Street and Galerno Road to address community concerns.
“The campaign to save Simms Creek has never been about stopping development in Campbell River,” says Barb Round, president of SSC. “WestUrban’s proposal to buildn three large apartment buildings on these wetlands and greenspace is simply the wrong development in the wrong place.”
