Campbell River, BC, September 11, 2026 – Wei Wai Kum First Nation marked a significant milestone in its economic development journey with a traditional land blessing and groundbreaking ceremony for a new waterfront hotel that will be branded a Tapestry Collection by Hilton and anticipated to open in Spring 2029. The hotel is Nation-owned and will be managed by Innovation Hospitality.

I got into politics because I believe in the power of local government to make our lives better, and four years later, I am more passionate than ever.

We have made progress on important issues and there is a lot more work to do.

In the coming weeks I will share more of what has been accomplished in my first term and my vision for the next four years.
